Just sharing. When I write my thoughts, it's somewhat liberating:
Reading many social media/
Facebook posts lately(mostly political in nature) seem emotionally ignited to divide one another. And "some" comments lack consideration of one another's feelings and the right to their opinion.
I'm seeing life-long friends that once had unity, now battling it out on the World Wide Web (and God) for all to witness (forever may I add). Maybe it feels acceptable for some to do that.
Many posts I factcheck, are not even accurate, just seem like keyboard aerobics of one's personal and emotionally driven opinion or hitting "share" blindly.
When did some become so inclined to alienate people, especially friends?
When did some lose compassion and love for the less fortunate in our country and neighbors in our world that "rightfully" need our love and support, just to save a small part of the map we live in?
I think we should all try to unite not divide. I understand, this is a platform for free speech, so not trying to eliminate that expression.
I don't know? Just everything feels very icky, or at least to me!
May love, truth and Forgiveness somehow prevail.
